Time never takes away the pain. One year or a 100 years...It all feels the same. Chris you are missed sooo much by myself & all of your friends. We think about you everyday & wish that you were here with us. My heart nearly stopped on June 29th when I saw your birthday remembrance. I never thought that you & my sister would be side to side in the obituary section. I really miss you and will see you one day:)

To Louise, Rob and family:

I never knew Chris, but sure wish I would have been fortuntate enough to have met him. Everyone needs a friend in their life like Chris!

My name is Lisa (Bremner) Gaudet and I am married to Danny Gaudet; I am from Domremy and Danny is from Bellevue. I linked to Chris' website through Deshae's website. These websites are beautiful tributes!! It is so special for the people who knew him and for the people who didn't, we get to know them through memories, stories, and pictures. Chris was loved by all who knew him - I really enjoyed everyone's memories - he made more people happy than most people do in a lifetime! If only there were more people like him in this world - God does pick the best!! The tournaments in his honour are an excellent idea - Chris must be so proud!

I am so sorry for your loss. He sure has left a huge imprint on this earth, and in so many hearts!

Take Care!

Hi Rob and Louise,

I just wanted to tell you that we think the website for Chris is great. We check it often and just like looking around at all the pictures and everything on it. It's a great tribute to your wonderful son and it will always ensure that the memories of Chris stay fresh.

I think the links you have to other websites are great to. I spent a long time one night reading through DeShae's website. Another wonderful tribute to a beautiful little girl.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we think of you often. I heard that Kelly and Jen's wedding was great. I'm still waiting for Tracy to send me pictures so if you have any digital's, I'd love to see them.

To Chris's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Chris, but I hear that he was a happy go lucky kind of guy with a good heart. It doesn't seem right to see such a young person pass away, but I wanted you to know that he holds a special place in my heart and I often think of you and know somewhat of what you are going through, because my daughter Deshae died November 28, 2005. As you probably know - you hold on to everything that happens around the time of their passing and you keep it close to you. I don't know if you already did this or not, but I know what has helped me alot was creating a website for her so that friends and family could go and visit and keep her close to them.
Take care!

To Louise, Rob, Jen, and Bob.

I wish I was there to give you guys the biggest hug anyone could ever get. I am soooo sory. I am so sad. You are right...Chris made everyone feel like his best friend, even his neighbors that would see him briefly everday. Nick who was two at the time thought the world of Chris, Jess who was four when we lived in Saskatoon thought the world of Chris and of course myself and Ray,30 something, who thought that Chris was such a geat person. With that personality how could you not. This is just too sad. You are all in our prayers. We hope that all of you are doing ok. Jenn, and Bob Congratulations on your engagements. That was nice news.
Anyway, what I said about Chris goes for all of you. You can't ask for nicer people. Every one of you is truly the best.

I will keep trying to call.
Maureen.

It's been over a month and I cannot believe Chris is gone. I have so many great memories with Chris and in reading everyone's messages, I truly believe he was "an Angel Among Us".. He constantly thought of others and gave himself unselfishly, and I don't know if anyone realized just exactly who he was until now. He was our angel.
Chris, I will never forget you. You are a friend who left footprints on my heart.

My thoughts are with you Roy Family.

The first time I met Chris was when I climbed into his New Holland combine last year when we combined for him and his dad. His cab reminded me of a confectionary store with all the assortment of chocolate bars and pop cans to choose from:) We got to know eachother well that year spending so many days and hours riding together in eachothers' combines. I'll never forget my birthday this year...I was stuck on the combine that night and guess who showed up, Chris bearing birthday beer and every girl's favorite thing in the world, chocolate:) He stayed with me that entire night and that was the last time I saw him. I wish I would have told him how much I appreciated him.

I just want his family to know how much he loved them and always spoke so highly of them.

Bye Chris
Lynne xoxo

I just remembered a cute Chris story, Chris drove in our yard on his quad, so we proceeded to chat and he showed us all the features on his quad it had an elevated back seat and I mentioned that I would like this feature on our quad as then your view would be better. Chris said hop on I'll take you for a ride so you can see if you would like it. I declined saying I was to busy had things to get done and he replied that" one should never be so busy as to miss out on life's fun offerings." I thought it strange that he used the word "offering" anyway I ended up going for the ride and it was a blast. I thought of his word offering and it is so true life offers you things everyday we choose to say yes or no and Chris I try not to say no to the fun stuff but when I am about to I think of you and usually go for it!!!!
Thanks to you and the brief visit I will probably enjoy a lot more of life's fun offerings.

Well, what can i say? Chris was an amazing guy. Not only was he one of the funnest big cousins a kid could have, but he was the best big brother I could have gotten. When i was young, of course, i remember us fighting as we played, but as we grew up we started to realize just how much we were alike. I suppose this is why we faught so often. Chris was always there to listen, whether you were telling him a stupid joke or you really needed to talk. I remember nights when he would pop in at the house in st.louis and lay with me on my bed and talk with me until I would fall asleep. THose moments were priceless, and i will always remember them. I remember singing with him and Jen and Darryl the waynes world song on the cb radios at the farm, again, another priceless moment. One night, well actually at 3 in the morning, he came into my room and convinced me to get all bundled up and go for a quad ride with him and Darryl. Needless to say, it was great fun, or course until we got stuck. Chris had the bright idea of needing more weight on the front of the skidoo so we could pull out the quad. Of course the joke was on me when, after almost an hour of us trying to get it out, I sat on the front of the skidoo and it came out no problem. That night we spent the night in the hot tub at grandma and grandpas, ( drinking the pina colada Chris made especailly for me ) and talked for hours. That is when i realized that he was like my big brother. He gave advice when i needed it, a shoulder to cry on, a drink on tough days and a kick in the butt when needed most. Chris you are in my heart forever, and will forever be my big brother.
