The 1st Annual Chris Roy Memorial Golf Tournament was held on July 2, 2006 at the Wakaw Lake Regional Park golf course. 84 golfers played a game of Texas Scramble with a shotgun start. A delicious steak supper followed at 6:00 catered by the Regional Park. 129 family and friends attended the supper.
Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who supported the 1st Annual Chris Roy Memorial Golf Tournament. Without your support this event would not have been the success that it was. All proceeds from this event go to support The Chris Roy Memorial Scholarship established through the Saskatoon Catholic Schools Foundation. Your generosity will allow the memory of Chris to continue on through the Scholarship at Holy Cross High School.
We would especially like to thank Chris' aunt and uncle Betty and Les Rancourt for the planning and organization of this very successful golf tournament. Not only will the golf tournament support Chris' Scholarship, it also brought friends and family together to visit and play the game of golf that Chris loved. A thank you is also extended to all the family and friends who golfed and those attending the supper. Thank you for your support and friendship.

The photo to the left shows Chris' aunt and uncle, Betty and Les. Les made this beautiful "Sharing Memories" sign for us to take to the different fundraising events that are put on for the Chris Roy Memorial Scholarship. The picture inside can be changed according to the event. The grains used in the center are from some of the last fields Chris combined.
