HCHS Criteria

To be eligible to receive the Chris Roy Memorial Scholarship, the recipient must:

• Possess and exhibit qualities of a good school citizen, have a great love and passion for life, and through his/her kind deeds and thoughtfulness towards others - students and staff - has made Holy Cross High School and the community at large a better place.
• Demonstrate the ability to work to his/her potential and achieve personal growth and does not normally receive recognition at school.
• Have an academic average which meets the entrance requirements for the post secondary program chosen. Preference will be given to students not on the Honour Roll.
• Be graduating from Holy Cross High School and must have been in attendance at Holy Cross High School for the entire Grade 12 year.
• Provide proof of acceptance to the post secondary program within two years of graduating from Grade 12.
